BML^TM Modelers perform a key role on any BML^TM project team. Their expertise in using the W5 Editor is necessary for the development of the project model and the drafting of dimension models during the Document Co-Formulation phase. In addition, they partner with an BML^TM Facilitator to run Facilitated Co-Formulation sessions and should be able to anticipate additions and adjustments to the model as the facilitator leads the conversation. It is their real-time manipulation of the W5 Editor in concert with Facilitator direction and SME input that provides the dynamic environment in which to validate BML^TM dimension models.

Leading a Facilitated Co-Formulation session is both a science and an art. An BML^TM Facilitator must not only be proficient in the methodology and W5 Editor, but also a master at managing group dynamics, conflict resolution, interpreting SME input and translating it into BML ^TM dimension models. BML ^TM Facilitators partner with BML ^TM Modelers and must develop a synergistic relationship to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of their sessions.

The culmination of BusinessGenetics certification is the BML^TM Master. These practitioners have expert and applied knowledge of methodology and the W5 Editor along with experience leading numerous Facilitated Co-Formulation sessions. In addition, the BML ^TM Master is also qualified to deliver project outcomes through either business improvement analytics or business requirements generation. An BML ^TM Master will demonstrate their competency through the leadership of a project from planning through execution.
