Well 2010 is off to a rocking and rolling start for everyone here at BG. The holidays were a great time to reflect on a great 2009 and to prepare for the roller coaster ahead in 2010.
BusinessGenetics has so much to look forward to, we definitely have some secrets up sleeves that we can't wait to slowly show everyone over the course of the year. First BG is thrilled to announce that we have become partners in learning with the University of Colorado at Boulder's Engineering Management Program and the Center for Business Improvement.
This new partnership will enable client organizations’ability to find, implement, and track strategic organizational improvement businesses and students will learn how to align activities in a business from top to bottom, ensure every process is clearly defined and optimized all with the goal of increasing an organization’s profitability. BG’s method for modeling is complimentary to the Center’s BPE model which provides a comprehensive framework for strategic planning and policy deployment (Hoshin Kanri), horizontal alignment of areas for profit maximization, effectively prioritizes and properly staffs Six Sigma projects, and provides a model for day‐to‐day (Daily) management, and insures that every employee’s activities are aligned with an organization’s objectives.
For the EMP's program students this partnership will enhance the students ability to align a business' activities from the top to the bottom, learn and become proficient in BG's modeling software, which BG is donating to the program, and develop key relationships both in the consulting world and local and national businesses.
