Known
Problems and Issues in xBML W5
If exchanging files with previous versions of the xBML W5, users with earlier versions must have the latest Converter.xsl file in the root of the xBML Client directory.
Clients who have the Model Manager installed, must update the Converter.xsl file found in the installation directory of the Model Manager with the Converter.xsl file from the xBML Client directory.
The licensing version has been updated to 4.0. This means users will have to obtain a new license in order to use the xBML W5 4.0. Please contact xBML Innovations Support at 1.303.792.3086 or support@xbmlinnovations.com for questions.
The Default.xml file will be overwritten for version 4.0, meaning that any previously saved User Options will be lost.
Under certain circumstances, the xBML installation becomes corrupt and an error is received when trying to launch the xBML W5. It is recommended that when installing the xBML W5 that the .msi file is saved to your local machine, preferably in the installation folder of the xBML W5 (ie. C:\Program Files\xBML Innovations\xBML Client). If this error is encountered, it can usually be fixed by deleting the shortcut and then re-creating the shortcut. If the error is still encountered, the xBML W5 will have to be re-installed.
